Welcome to CAUDLeading the Way Annual Summit
January 30 and 31, 2025 @San Joaquin County Office of Education
In person and Hybrid Sessions
Thursday January 30, 2025 2:00pm - 3:15pm PST
This session, for principals and district leaders, highlights the unique strengths that new teachers bring to fostering a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) culture. With their recent training centered on UDL through Teaching Performance Expectations (TPE) and Assessments (TPA), these teachers are primed to champion inclusive practices. The presentation emphasizes the power of amplifying teacher voice, offering administrators practical strategies to support UDL school-wide—such as fostering teacher-led initiatives, professional learning communities, and recognizing UDL-aligned efforts. Join us to learn how administrators can empower teachers to make UDL a school-wide foundation for accessibility and student success.
