Session ResourcesIn this session, we will explore the evolution of co-teaching within Tracy Unified School District. We’ll begin by discussing our early co-teaching efforts, highlighting the challenges and successes that laid the foundation for a more inclusive approach.
Next, we’ll examine current practices and how UDL principles have transformed our instructional methods to better support students with disabilities. The introduction of a TOSA has been crucial in providing resources and support for educators and students.
We'll also discuss revisions made to IEPs in co-taught content areas, emphasizing the alignment of these plans with priority standards to ensure all students can access a rigorous curriculum. Ongoing PD has been essential, equipping teachers with the tools needed to implement UDL effectively.
Through collaborative efforts, we’ve created an environment where all students can thrive, sharing success stories that highlight the positive impact of these initiatives. This session aims to inspire educators to embrace UDL as a pathway to inclusive learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of every learner. Join us as we share our journey to promote inclusion through innovative teaching strategies.
