CA UDL Summit

Dr. Zoni Boyer, a former U.S. Air Force airman and single mother, holds high honors from Claremont Graduate School and a Doctorate from California State University, East Bay. Her research emphasized the need for support systems for Black males labeled as emotionally disturbed, leading to the establishment of the Black S.H.I.N.E. Network, her nonprofit connecting underserved students with resources to enhance their post-secondary success. Currently, she works at San Mateo COE as a Coordinator supporting multiple schools in the areas of UDL, MTSS, and Special Education.
